I wake up
to a leaky ceiling
and listen
to the rain
and the drips
for a moment
before getting up
and going down
to the manager
who says he’ll try
to get a guy
meantime just move
my shit out
of the way
and use a bucket or
something so
I return and
move my shit
out of the way
and use a
saucepan
which I have
to empty
every forty five
minutes.
It’s that long
slow shower
that everyone
has been hoping for.
