Regardless of their credit history
Or any other failings for that matter
And no one is denied
If they at least have a job
Soon I could be in the car of my choice
But for now I walk to the store
To buy cigarettes and cheap beer
Feeling approved and un-denied
Even if I dropped out of college
Even if I cheated on my girlfriend
Even if I tend to return movies
