now that you’ve
gone
to a place
far away where
i’m sure
you’re
much happier
i hope that the
astrophysicists and
cosmologists
are wrong and
the
universe isn’t
going to expand
indefinitely
i hope that
it will
contract back
to a singularity
the “Big Crunch”
where every place in
the universe
will once again be
the same
and
where you
and i will have
no choice but
to be together
again
until then
i will
wait
